What do you do for a living?

Former Navy Seabee (12yrs). Done lots of things as we moved every couple of years while the hubby did his 20 in the Navy. Now he is retired from the Navy and working as a specialist for a fortune 500 company....As for me, I work for my church and run their office.
 
Lol running 9 restaurants, as an area supervisor. Keeps me busy Monday through Sunday lol on Sunday through Monday however you see it
 
Lol yeah I just love being able to give/support people into a position they never thought they could be in! Such a great feeling! The good Lord leads me everyday! [emoji2]

for those of you wondering. I am a finance manager at a car dealership. boat sales was close. everyday I help people buy vehicles they cant really afford. its crazy but they literally beg me to do it. this thread is really interesting. so many walks of life in this hobby
 
One problem with your theory, I assume you are basing this on a 10yr S&P 500 average. Not all stocks have a "direct correlation" to the S&P 500. 7% is one of those things everyone throws out there, but it is not necessarily true. You also need to factor in market timing. Where in the "10 year cycle" are you getting in at? Where are you getting out. Lets just say that the average investor is lucky to hit 3-5% despite what the dude with the porshe on YouTube tells you. I will keep spending on my reef because it makes me happy and happiness contributes to longevity and quality of life.
One of my goals is not to be the richest guy in the cemetery, reef on!!
