I literally wanna know what to do with it... should i empty all the water out of it and turn all the pumps off? should I keep it running with routine water changes? I dont need it anymore for the time being and I dont foresee myself buying anymore fish any time soon... what would you guys do?

If you're done buying fish for a good long time I would take it down, clean everything real well and store it. I would however, always Kerr some filter floss floating around the sump to maintain a ready colony of bacteria in case you need it for a quick hospital or treatment tank.

Empty and disinfect it. I use distilled white vinigar to clean mine. I use PVC fittings as the "aqua scape" and those get cleaned too. If any live rock was used either return it to were you pulled it from or toss it. Depending on weather meds were used. I use a bio wheel filter on mine so when not in use that wheel kicks around my sump if not medicated or I get a new one and toss that in the sump asap so its ready for next time. I also turn the tank upside down so as to keep the inside of it clean

Could make a frag tank, or run it as a nano. Or take it down, I'm pretty sure you can never have too many tanks running at once though lol
