Depends on how/why they died. Disease? Into bleach, then the garbage. Natural causes? If they are too big to feed to something else, then they're preserved in Isopropyl.

After plugging a toilet with my large pleco( husband found his skeleton in the bend of the ) I started putting in my garden. Usually after shedding some tears.

If I find them I remove them, but honestly usually the tank disposes of them quickly.. if I do find them I'll usually put them in a ziplock and put them out in the trash, if o buried them in my garden, which I originally did, squirrels, chipmunks and groundhogs tear up the garden to find them.

A viking funeral is always an option.

I never really get a choice my decorator or my giant hermit crab or my anemone always get to the fish first.

i have always flushed fish save for a pair of black lionhead goldfish that were too dear for me. i placed them in styrofoam containers and stashed them in the freezer. ;Sorry

I had a blue throat trigger named Fatty for a long time and when he died we buried him and my kids made a head stone for him. It was a sad time.

Lots of fish living long time for me. I’ve buried all my treasured fish in the roots of the mango and avocado trees in the back yard. Give back for a fruitful season.

If they are small my serpent star is all over them and the coral banded shrimp cleans up what's left. Larger ones get the flush.

Usually mine get eaten by other critters in the tank. They go off and die in some hidden corner of the tank. I never see the corpse.

When I first started, we buried them in our yard... It was an emotional experience for my kids...

Now flush, or toss if too large for the toilet.
