What do you feed your Acans?

I target feed twice a week with coral frenzy powder, coral frenzy pellets, and seachem fuel. The color and growth is amazing.

Reefroids/red sea AB+. They blow up like crazy and their little tentacles come screaming out as fast as they can. They really like the red sea AB+. Red sea AB+ is a pain in the butt to find as it seems like it's always sold out most places.

Acans are definitely one of the corals along with Gonis that benefit greatly from feeding. I feed my acans mysis a few times a week when feeding my fish. Sometimes I’ll give them some powdered coral food as well but I think they like the meaty food better. Any frozen food should work well.

Feed my Acans Reef Roids. They doubled in size when I feed them! That's how i like to seem them! Super inflated! Seems like I feed them steriods! haha

I honestly don’t feed my corals and I use to be a big feeder it just adds to much waste to my tank and has little benefits

I have Red Sea AB. Do you mix it together or dose separately?

I mixed it together, i think it even says you can on the bottle, it's been a bit since ive read it since I switched to AB+. But when you run out of your AB i really recommend trying AB+. So much better then the old formula. Here is a video from them.

My acans could be weird, but whenever I dust them with reef roids, they flatten their polyps and retract their feeding tentacles and let the roids blow away when I inevitably turn the return pump back on. I think they like meaty foods because their tentacles can react to it and grab it then can consume it. I soak my mysis in aminos for a few minutes then feed my acans- dual-action initiates feeding response and feeds them
