I've had a nice little rose BTA for about a week now. My tank raised clown has never even swam by it so he's by himself. I haven't fed him yet, though I'm sure he's caught some things when I feed the tank. I plan on picking something up to hand feed him. Is the freeze-dried krill good enough? Or is there something better? I feed my tank once a day, typically with frozen food (alternating between an angel formula and a reef frenzy formula). I'd prefer something that keeps well (as opposed to fresh seafood).

I feed mine with corals once a week. Just spray a lil coral food on them and they’re happy. Remember they’re photosynthetic and don’t need to be fed

Freeze dried krill and reef chili are my go-to. My auto feeder does Spectrum.

When I spot feed my anemone rock I use the spot feeder and take off the silicon tip. Crumble the krill to little chunks and let them soak in a dish with water for a bit. Reef chili I use on the lps but I also use krill too just smaller pieces.

Mine get larger chunks of reef frenzy that I come across.

Thanks all. I did just pick up some reef chili too so I'll start with that and see how he likes it. I'll pick up some krill next time I'm at the LFS.

Mine does best when I feed it small things.
