Just curious to see what people feed

I'm just putting in brine shrimp every so often as my tank is full of pods and other good things they can feed on

Was curious to see if I needed to pick up anything else for them to keep them happy

Depends on the coral...

Sps - mixture of zoofeast, oyster feast, coral frenzy, coral extacy, and cyclopese. Twice a week

Lps - most i feed brine and mysis, except welso and elegance get very small sliced gulf shrimp

Zoas - nothing

Some people say feeding is not necessary, but it is a must in my system. I keep very very low nutrients and my corals start to recede if I don't feed them.

chopped mysis when i feed fish, nitrates and phosphates to facilitate growth along with essential trace elements then for broadcast and spotfeeding i do ocean nutritions nano reef coral food mixed with prawn roe. i supplement with KZ coral snow and amino acid. cyclopeze once a week mixed with oyster feast.

Stop the brine shrimp, nothing but poor nutrition and grief.what corals/fish are trying to feed BTW

I feed my Lps fauna marin zoa/acan food.. It's a powder, mix with water, draw with a syringe, feed mouths!

Fish Poo.

But once in a while ill thaw some Cyclopsese and Mix that with the Mysis,Enriched brine,Or krill. What ever is on the menu. Spot feeding Lps Every week.

I have a sump with filter socks. So I turn off the return pump and Let the Cloudy mix circulate in the tank for 10-15 min then turn the pump back on and let the sock filter out the Leftovers. I dont see anything in the tank but ya never know...

i alternate between reef roids , fauna lps pellets and mysis shrimp i find it works pretty good

I feed my LPS & Ricodea Floridas with Fauna Marin LPS pellets.
SPS & Ricodea Yumas = Fauna Marin LPS pellets, but grounded up into fine powder with Golden Pearls.

I believe in the saying, “variety is the spice of life” so I feed my tank a variety of food.

For fish:
Frozen: Brine, Mysis, PE Mysis, homemade frozen cube
Dry: Brine, Ocean Plankton, Ocean Nutrition Formula Two, New Life Spectrum Marine Fish Formula, Instant Ocean Marine Chips, Instant Ocean Marine Pellets
Small piece of green Nori 2-3 times per week for the tang
All food soaked in garlic before feeding

For Corals:
Reef Chili, Reef-Roids, Cyclop-Eeze, ZooPlan, PhytoPlan, Daphnia, Phyto Feast, Oyster Feast, R.O.E.

For Anemones:
Silversides every 2 weeks

For fish I have two clowns which usually gets pellets and the odd brine shrimp

For corals I have Elegance coral, hammer coral, Kenya tree and a star polyps

Figured I'd ask to see what would be best to feed these if they need to be fed at all and also to see what everyone else uses and had good success with

I am a big advocate of feeding my corals. I feed them 1-2 times per week.. I target feed my LPS corals thawed and rinsed frozen mysis in the evenings when their feeding tentacles are out. I feed my SPS corals 1-2 times per week in the evening alternating with frozen oyster eggs, Tropic Marin Pro Coral Phyton and TM Pro Coral Zooton.
