Corals are expensive as it is , i find my self straying away from paying the check out when i look at shipping , does it phrase you guys ?

I like to wait for live sales. Usually there is a good price on shipping modules. I get a bunch of corals for reasonable shipping. I don't think I have ever just ordered 1 coral, I always wait and do a big shopping spree to save on shipping.

I like to purchase through live aquaria, I have only purchased fish from them so far, but I have had great results and some failure, however live aquaria stood behind their word and gave me back my money not even store credit, they refunded my money. Because I spent over 100.00 over night shipping is free. This also worked for my clean up crew where I built 75.00 worth the custom clean up crew and was shipped for free over night.

Recently, I found a LFS that offers online prices at their store so I have redirected my shopping to support them. Always support your local LFS....that being said I have been looking at WWC, Jason Fox, Tidal Gardens, and Fish of Hex for corals. The prices are good, I dont mind paying shipping but if I can find a deal were I spend X amount in the store to get free shipping then I would rather spend the money on product than UPS.

i agree, LIVEAQAURIA is great for free shipping, thats one thing i love about them, and they really do stand behind their products or corals . , i always find my self lurking there. I sometimes just cant justified paying 30 or 40 on shipping, that could have been one more coral , or if you buy 3 or 4 on the live sales* and couldnt score much , then it would be the same as adding 10 to each coral .. Maybe the vendors will see this and pay half of the shipping or even remove the shipping :) as im sure they are pocketing enough.

Shipping is one reason I also hesitate on buying coral online. Not only is it expensive but most vendors will not honor DOA when shipping is delayed and that really bugs me so I don't use those vendors for that reason alone.

I also look for a 10 to 14 day guarantee on their livestock like Live Aquaria and WWC. If they don't offer either then they must have really good deals on their coral to make me want to take the risk or it has to be that one piece you just have to have.

The $45 for shipping is a huge ugh factor.
If it’s something I have to have I look past the shipping fee or purchase a lot to make it worth it.
I like to shop local and support my LFS every chance I get.

Lets get more voices in here and express our feelings over shipping , or whatever is in light :)

I usually buy enough so that shipping is free. Except for those few sellers who don't offer free shipping at any level, and I must admit that sometimes i hesitate to complete the transaction with them.

that being said I have been looking at WWC, Jason Fox, Tidal Gardens

All of these are good sellers. I've also had nothing but good experiences with Cherry Corals, Legendary Corals, and Boom Corals.

last site i was hesitating was boom corals too heh( i think his shipping was 25 dollers) which isnt so bad honestly , what made me not buy anything , they ran out the tyree pink lem

Oh I know, I should have grabbed one of those myself when I had the chance. Choices, choices...

i always wanted one , so many people sell them locally when im not looking, but hard to find when you want XD
