What do you guys think about this crab

I've recently spotted this crab in my Qt tank. It's a nice purple color kinda like a plum. It's growing like a weed its went from dime size to nearly half dollar size in a month. It was cute at first now it's looking kinda vicious. I don't want to kill him, but I don't want to feed him expensive fish either. What do you guys think?
I'm building a sump/refugium now, but it won't be ready & cycled for about a month.

Here's a pic. I did a little reading online but no definitive answers, just people suspecting its bad.

I'd keep it alive in the qt and place it on the refugium when you get it done. I have several hitchhiker crabs in my refugium. I love watching them almost as much as my DT.

typically if they have black tips on their claws, that means they will munch on your corals.

No he isn't he just came out because I put some flake in there he was climbing the zoas trying to catch passing flake food
