Hi,

Ok I can't make up my mind about which lighting fixture to use. I just saw this metal halide and T5 combo light 0dyssea 30" 346W Metal Halide System Advance Plus

AND IT'S 346 WATTS. MY TANK IS
18"L x 30"W x 24"H. I have sps and soft corals. Do you guys think this light is good or too much for my tank?

and could I change the metal halide bulb to XM 250 watt 20 k bulb? would this be enough for my corals? do you guys have any experience with this light? It is less than the fixture that I was going to buy? I was going to buy a T5 fixture which had 4 bulbs but only 96 watts in total and cost more than this lighting fixture.

Please let me know what you guys think.

Sounds like a plan to me!! And yes, you could change out the lamp for the 250w 20k.

Ok thnx!

I'm kind of scared to buy because this fixture is so cheap...I don't want it to break after few months....does anyone have it?
