I for the life of me have such a difficult time reading these test....

phosphate looks likes 0.025

nitrate looks like 10 but idk I doubt myself

If it does look like 10 read it from the side dividing by 10 and not from the top. Sometimes it is clearer to me that way.

Why divide by 10?
On the salifert kit. If you look through it through the side of the glass instead of the top you can use "different" units and the color is easier at least for me.
I.e. if the color is close to a 100 when looking through the side then your nitrates are 10. If looking through side the color looks like a 50 then 5. It's just easier IMO to find if color is between 100 and 50 looking through the side than between 5 or 10 looking through the top.

I suspect that the brightwell is simply lanthium chloride. Be VERY careful dosing that. It instantly binds and removes phosphates. Can cause very rapid swings in your phosphate numbers.

It's a great tool but wield in carefully.

Get those nitrates down as well. Having a skewed nitrate to phos ratio can cause problems. Like cyano

Good luck!
