What size tank are you planning putting it on?

2 things I don't like about it:
It is not dimmable, and it looks as if using a timer for day/night functions won't work, as there is a rocker switch to switch between the 2, so you would have to make the switch manually.

it don't look like a bad deal but the inability to control the lights would bother me. The options are whites off, all off, or all on. no way to control them with timers as it is just a single plug. I got one of the older 1w lED rigs which is roughly the same quality and I can't say I was pleased with the quality.

if you're handy what you can do if there is a switch to control the white, white and blue, and off is crack it open and tie in a timer with the switch. The hardest thing to know without opening it up is if the switch is a single pole triple throw or a double pole triple throw, single pole triple throw means you have one wire(conventionally the hot leg or L1) connection on the switch that can go between 3 states, where as a double pole triple throw switch is two wires(L1 and Neutral which is most likely the case) connected to the switch, with 3 switch positions, and in the short of it, you would be just replacing the switch with a timer. If you are interested in more information pm me and i could go a little more in depth unless others are interested in which case i can further expound.
