What do you think looks better?

The second picture Is the setup I had for a while but I just wasn’t happy with the long rock piece on the wall. It didn’t look right to me so I removed it from the tank and now I’m trying this look which is a bit more open.

Both options have there strengths and look good - a lot of it depends on which one you prefer. One other thing to try is to squint and imagine what it will look like covered in coral (if you plan to go that direction).
