What do you think of these parameters

mag- 1500

I know they all are a little high, but i believe this is due to my salt. I run my salt a little high which in return pushed all my lvl's up. Now i have read many threads on rc about a method of reefkeeping called the blue or poppen, when you rise all lvl's to about what this and it's sappost to increase growth rate. My over all tank yes i can say there is little bleeching in some coral (mostly purple coral's) but i would say i have good growth rates. What would you saggest doing lowering all three a little to the ideal 450,9,1400?

i think the mag is at an ideal level. and i think the alk is fine, i know a lot of people keep it between 9-10. i would just lower the cal some.

i wouldnt worry about the mag........it will probably decrease over time.........alk and calcium will decrease over time as the lps and sps will use it up. what kind of corals u got in your tank? i would say dont dose for about 3-4 days........and check your levels on the third day to see how much had dropped........when you get it to where you want it just dose a maintenance dose for your 2 part.

I have a cal rex but no use for it so far. I mean a 5g water change once a week has been doing the trick. I have a mostly sps, then a few rare lps.zoos

Ca too high, if alk drops you have snow, not a good thing.
