I sent some pics to my LFS who knows me well and he said it's a parasite and to treat with Bifuran. He said it's definetly not ich (ick). I just started the treament today (the Dips). My other fish do not have it. All my levels are perfect (nitrate, amonia...etc).
It does look like stings now that you mentioned it. I know that he likes to try to host the Anemones like my clown's do. So irritating when you really don't know. The good news is that he's acting the same way (eating, swimming) :clap2:
Thanks for the info on flukes....I'm not sure those pics match up. That seems more "patchy". Well it's either ich or a parasite like my fish guy said...or stings. I just noticed it today so we'll see how he is tomorrow with the treatment I am doing. Thanks everyone!
Oh BTW-if it is black ich...wouldn't my other fish have it too? I know I have to read up on ich but it's odd to me that my other fish don't have it. Knock on wood...because I may wake up in the morning and find that ALL my fish have it. NO! :jaw:
also garlic will help keep his immune system up to fight off the infection. do you use any vitamins when you feed. brightwell has some vitamin c that is good and there is also a suppliment called vitachem which i really like. i would definatly get some to help if you dont have any.
