Yeah I noticed that too to the touch it feels solid. On the back side there is more rock I know it looks a bit wobbly but there is more support in the back. Thanks for pointing it out!Looks good just becarful of the rock at the top in the middle looks a little unstable from this angle
I see that you are setting up your rock structure, imo it will help you out slot in the long run if you concentrate your rock towards the middle of the tank and leave room for your fish to swim behind the rock work. It also makes cleaning easier and less detritus build up. Here is a side shot of my tankYeah I noticed that too to the touch it feels solid. I'll keep that in mind thank you. Any thoughts on how to clear up the cloudyness? It's been around 5 days now and the tank still glows because of whatever is making the cloud.I see that you are setting up your rock structure, imo it will help you out slot in the long run if you concentrate your rock towards the middle of the tank and leave room for your fish to swim behind the rock work. Filter socks and wet skim for a while , if it's a bacteria bloom you need more bio media /live rock , or get a uv sterilizer. Being that the tank is new I'm going to say it's a combination of both. Doing both methods should help.I'll keep that in mind thank you. Any thoughts on how to clear up the cloudyness? When I get a bit of extra money I'll throw in some marine pure into the sump. I like it. +1 to this statement... Snails can wedge pretty easily and topple rock you may think they couldn't. Some reef putty/glue specifically for rock structures can add a measure of protection.Looks good just becarful of the rock at the top in the middle looks a little unstable from this angle
Depending on space in your sump you don't have to get marine pure, it's expensive lol, you can get ceramic rings or even try matrix by seachem. Marine pure is fragile and breaks easily IMO. I use ceramic rings from eBay in my sump, works just fine. When I get a bit of extra money I'll throw in some marine pure into the sump. I haven't actually started cycling it yet
That's good to hear I was just looking at ceramic rings the other day on amazon. They do seem like more bang for the buck. I think I'll take your advice!Depending on space in your sump you don't have to get marine pure, it's expensive lol, you can get ceramic rings or even try matrix by seachem. They work just as well and aren't so fragile, it seems like your tank is pretty large like most of us, I would suggest depending on the amount of fish you keep to beef up on bio media and invest in a good protein skimmer. That's good to hear I was just looking at ceramic rings the other day on amazon. Yeah I agree on both things and will definitely do both. They work just as well and aren't so fragile, it seems like your tank is pretty large like most of us, I would suggest depending on the amount of fish you keep to beef up on bio media and invest in a good protein skimmer.
Your tank will look great don't rush or take short cuts!Yeah I agree on both things and will definitely do both.

I will probably go reached stability.Got mine in yesterday, but the weather was bad, so had to powerwash them this morning... And got them in, with the sand. My RODI filter is slow as molasses, so... Gonna be a few days getting water in... Looks good. What method are you going for cycle? I got Bio-Spira, and going no lights, with bits of raw shrimp for 1-3 months...
If you want the cycle to be 10x faster use live rock from an existing tank. Buy from lfs or a fellow reefer with good water.Got mine in yesterday, but the weather was bad, so had to powerwash them this morning... And got them in, with the sand.
