Here are a couple more. They don't come out as sharp as I would like. I'm using the stock lens that came with the kit so I don't know if I expecting too much from it or more likely I'm doing something wrong.

It doesn't look half as nice as most of the tanks on here. I'm still trying to get all the corals stituated still so it looks a little out of order. I'd like to save the FTSs untill its a bit more organized.

think about what...the nice corals and fish or the nice pics.looks good

That's my dream camera =(

I've been looking at it for a while. I blew my whole budget on the kit, so it'll be a while before I can get any lenses.

Thanks, It about 2/3 of the way up under T5s and med-high flow. It actually looks better than it does in the pic. Its taking its time to color up though.

Pics look good buddy! Just keep playing around with it and you're sure to have some professional looking pics. The biggest thing I found with that lens is that is you're unable to get it to focus, make sure the lens is perpendicular to the glass and try moving the camera back from the tank a bit. The minimal focus distance on that lens is longer than I'd like, so I found myself putting the camera a foot or more from the tank on some shots.

P.S. I ended up getting that same tripod and thus far I love it! I've taken a few pics that came out nice and I'll upload them as soon as I get a chance!

Thanks Scott, let me know when you post them. Your pics seem to get better every time. I'm going to play with the setting a little more today and see what happens. After using your lens this one leaves something to be desired. It'll be a while before I can pick up a new lens though. I have to find a cheaper hobby, lol.
