I’m upgrading to a 150 gallon tank from my Red Sea reefer 250. Should I keep my Red Sea reefer 250 in the living room with my new 150 gallon and have a L shape tank or put it some place else?

I was thinking of making it a frag tank?

Personally...keep both if doable. Tied together into one system.

This is a call you have to make.
Deciding factors are :
Space
Total weight in the room
Electrical bill costs
Maintanance increases

I personally have 3 tanks and none small and find it very manageable, but also in separate rooms

My frag tank is in a seperate room from my display.
I did not want them linked. Seperate systems but run at the same parameters.

Its really your call.
