Sure it's a nice container for rodi, but how much did it cost?edit to add: it looks like someone else also posted about this product...
I found what, to me, is the perfect ATO reservoir. US Plastics sells polypropylene tanks in a variety of sizes from 2 gallons up to 75 gallons and everything in between. I was looking for a reservoir to fit in the stand of my IM 200EXT using the space left over after using a 60 breeder as a sump and with all the different dimensions they offered I was able to find an 18 gallon container that perfectly fit the space.
The material is easy to drill and I added a bulkhead for RODI line so I can hook my kalk stirrer up to it and drilled a hole for a grommet for my ATO pump tube and wire. I also drilled a hole and added a QD fitting that allows me to click in a tube I use for refilling it rather than just trying to flop a tube into the original 4" lid hole and have it potentially fall out.
The fact that they have them in so many dimensions means there's probably one for nearly any application and the material is really impact resistant so there's no risk of cracking it, which is something I'd worried about with the fancy acrylic reservoirs. The cost was about the same as a 5-10 gallon acrylic reservoir but I get better use of the space in my stand and a lot more capacity.
The attached photos show the container test fitted under my stand and show the additions I made to the top to make it work well for me as a reservoir. I drilled the hole for the QD fill point before I had the fittings and wish I'd drilled it further from the edge but turning it sideways as it is shown works perfectly.

I actually bought the 18 gallon version that's slightly different dimensions (because those dimensions fit my space really nicely). I've only had it about 6 weeks but it works really well. The material is super thick and durable; I'm sure you could throw it off the roof and it would just laugh. I drilled some holes in the top and added things like an RODI bulkhead so I could fit line for my kalk stirrer, a hole to put a grommet in for a place to feed the ATO pump tube and wire, and I added a 90 degree PVC fitting to the top with a QD so I could easily click in my fill tube for refilling rather than using the lid the container came with (especially since I don't have a ton of space above the tank in my stand so trying remove the 4" lid and drop the fill hose in there would be a harder reach. This square container fits my space...haven't bought it yet.

I paid $158 for the 18 gallon size. It was $103 for the container, $12 for tax, and $45 for shipping.Sure it's a nice container for rodi, but how much did it cost?
and it looks like for their smallest, a 2 gallon container, it's like $60 for the part and the shipping estimate is $12 so it does look like shipping is adjusted based on size/weight and other containers might have higher or lower shipping costs.Sure it's a nice container for rodi, but how much did it cost?
No problem with head pressure, using a Neptune ATK pump though ro line. Have a solenoid and float at tank end for redundancy.I was contemplating doing something similar...you didn't have any issues with head pressure? Which pump are you using?
