What do you use for looking at your tank?

Looking as in for normal viewing? If i'm just enjoying the tank and need to use a magnifying glass then i'm doing it wrong!

I use a magnifying glass to inspect corals for eggs before they go in, I use an LED small flashlight to check for pests late at night and I use a really nice camera in raw to take pictures.

I have that porthole magnifier on the glass.. love it! That and a tactical flashlight w added red lenses for late night creeping lol

I use a yellow filter when taking pics and a uv light to make sure all the baby nems are where theyre supposed to be lol
Sometimes I use my 10x mag lens to get pics for ID of really small things.

If I need a close look I use my phones camera zoom. Gets impressively close and focused well.

I use an Ogles Mesoscope. From their website it looks like they no longer have a supplier, which is a real shame, it is one of my favorite tools!

I love it. I know there are cheaper and I made my own that was passable but the orphek is great. I like that you can pinpoint it and cast a wide beam.

I made one with a LED lashlight. I put scotch tape over lens and colored it with blue marker. Not the same but it let me know I wanted a real one.

If you have the ones that are yellow like in the picture. Put them on, kick on your blue LEDs and enjoy. It is like looking at a completely different tank with an absolutely different spectrum of light.
