What do you use to bond acrylic together?

Weld-on I believe number 16, number 4 is the water thin stuff that people use for the capillary bonding method.
 
clap panels together use #4 , make life easy ,panels are set in place and i dont need the claps any more then i apply the # 16 weld-on and the

Thanks! I found a local plastic shop that sells the 5oz for $4.50. Plus I bought a lot of spare 1/4" acrylic sheets for $14 to make the baffles with and try some projects.
 
i user both 4 and 16, i clap acylic panels together then apply #4

once the #4 welds the acylic panels together i can remove the claps and apply #16
 
I use Weld-On #4 for anything structural that holds water. #3 for quick set that does not have to hold water. I rarely use #16. If you think you need #16 ...make the fit better and use #4. IMO/IME

Ahh perfect thanks, I read the other post 5x and I was lost :).

Whats the difference between #4 and #16? Different strengths?

I'm using it for the baffles in a sump and to hold a probe holder, so if it leaks on the side a little I'm not that worried about it.
