What do you use to glue your rocks?

I will be building a new tank and i am looking for suggestions on what to use to glue my aquascape with. I have used the 2-part epoxy before and don't really like it, takes too long to set. Any other suggestions?

I've liked Tunze Coral Gum - but it sets up almost TOO quickly. Gotta work fast. The moldable polymer stuff is fun too - AquaMaxx Reef Welder, Aquascape Fix or Aquaforest Poly Glue. I got the AquaMaxx that comes with purple tint. You can get cheaper at a hobby store but I think those set up to white.

Not sure about that. The directions indicate that after it sets up it fully cures once submerged.

I strongly suggest e-marco 400 cement. I have used the Tunze gum, Aquamaxx beads that you heat up, all sorts of glue and all of them have failed. E-Marco does not from my experience. Drilling and posts is also helpful, but can be very difficult (risk of shattering rocks) with the harder rock that is readily available these days. Pukani drills and cuts like butter, but pretty scarce now.

+1 Works great. I recommend building modules (groups of rocks pinned together) so it is possible to remove if you ever want to.

If you use mortar I would highly suggest waiting overnight for it to cure. In the past I followed the instructions and it did not end well. I would just caution a little extra cure time.

Yeah, they say you can use e-Marco in water, but I think the best way is to cure dry overnight.

Superglue. You can get 16 oz bottles for about 30 bucks.

I use bits of rock rubble and waterweld along with the superglue and it works great.
