What do you use to protect flooring?

Continuing my new 80 gallon build, tank is here, husband is working on the stand...just wondering what does everyone use under their stands to protect flooring from splashes and the occasional unplanned flood?

I used an exercise machine mat off Amazon for my tank when it was on hardwood. Seemed to work well and distribute the weight.

I put a large dog crate tray under my tank when I was in an apartment to catch any drips and to buy me some insurance in the event of a leak.

Good idea! I think I'm going to go with an all purpose rubber cargo mat made for SUVs that I found on Amazon.

Horse mat from TSC or rural king. Its 3/4 inches thick and comes in two sizes
