What do you wish your LFS would carry?

What do you wish your LFS would carry but doesn't? I wish mine carried Rod's reef food.

Interesting fish.

Seems like every store in the area gets the same generic stuff over and over again. And then all of them will have the same exact stuff that the other's do during a given week. It's blatantly obvious they all use the same importer/wholesaler.

corals like sexy corals or zoas and palys like sonny at pro corals I rarely go to stores any more bc I no im gonna see the same oh crap ive seen the previous 5 years

I'd like to see more reef maintenance equipment ... my three LFS' have everything you need to set the tank up (tank, filter, skimmer) but only the one that's that fartherst away (about 60-70mins) has test equipment, additives, cleaners, and other things you need on a continuing basis to maintain the tank.

I'm lucky enough to have a not so LFS in Jacksonville that carries a great selection of wrasses. Got my flames from there.

Oddly enough my lfs is about perfect. If they don't have it they will get, they will price match equipment online and are super knowledgable.

Bigger selection at a good price rang. At times some LFS just seem to think that what there selling is jewelry that you can't get anywhere else. If prices are good, their inventory moves and you get more things at the same time people keep coming back for more.

My LFS carries a lot of stuff.. that's where I'm lucky.
Now if the girls waiting on me were better looking I would never leave there..lol

nice corals and fish who aren't scratching at the substrate. seems fish stores don't medicate their fish slightly to avoid diseases. and i have many coral shops around me and there is a select few that don't carry awful looking corals.
