What do your daylight settings look like?

I just installed my nanobox reef retrofit into my biocube 32 and it doesn’t look like I expected. The daylight setting ( on the mixed reef predefined setting) just doesn’t seem very bright. I’m kind of thrown by the intense shimmer too - it’s almost too much and kind of hurts my eyes. I’m confused lol.

I’ve played around with the settings and can’t figure out improvements.

I would turn the whites down to 5% and put the blues at 60%. If you have reds and greens put them at 0%

Well, my white channel and my royal blue channel don’t seem to work at all.

Here's my 180, no filter no photo adjustment at all. Marineland reef lights on the tank, somewhere in the 10k spectrum.

I prefer the crisp white look. I like to actually see the colors in more natural light. I'm not a fan of super blue and actinic look.

As for your light not working, just contact nanobox, they have a great reputation for a reason. You could just need an app update.

Your tank looks great. I put my stock lights back in. I sent Dave a bunch of messages and photos. Not sure where I want to go from here but hopefully I’ll hear from him tomorrow.

I have heard back from Dave and he thinks a couple of wires got switched. He said it would look a lot better once all the channels are working and that it should reduce the crazy amount of shimmer going on too. I can't look at it until tonight when I get home.
