What does DI really remove and Cuprisorb replacement?

Cuprisorb is getting expensive and some say they’re basically DI resin beats that slapped a label on with an outrages price tag.

if so, I can just order some DI resin way cheaper and put them in a panty hose to remove possible metal from my tank.

what’s your take on it?

A pound is only $25 vs 500ml for $33.

DI resins are just for polishing a small amount of TDS from pure water. Wont last long in saltwater.
