Hello everyone,
I have a female naked cinnamon blowfish that has white on her gills and a small spot on her back at the start of her dorsal fin. I'm going to move er to quarantine today and treat with Prazipro and Cupramine (copper treatment) for about two weeks. The clown has had this before, but it went away in about a week. It appears to have come back, so i'm wondering what she could have for ill know in the future. Does anyone know what this is? I have provided pics below. All parameters in display tank are spot on and she and her mate are the only fish in the tank except for a small moray eel so I do not believe it is stress induced.

It could be a minor infection that won't completely heal. Some time spent in antibiotics or even an acriflavine bath might help.

You could even try food soaking Kanaplex, provided you also use Seachem Focus to bind the medication. This combination would make the treatment reef safe.

Is the area white-ish flat and smooth looking or is it cottony/cauliflower like protruding outward a bit? Beautiful fish.
