What does seeing a NICE reef tank do for you?

Does it inspire you to do more with your own tank or does it discourage you?

Makes me want to aquascape and by new coral! LOL!

haha it always makes me want to do more!!!

It makes me wonder what I am doing wrong... I see the better colors and such and it causes me to ask questions. However it drives me to fix things and make mine even better.

I get inspired, I find myself wanting to do more reasearch on certain corals or fish I may have not considered. I also encourages me to spend more money, that's ultimately what it always does!

seeing an awsome reef- makes me want to buy more coral and mkaes me wants a 500G tank so everything is possiable.

Now going to a buddies house and seeing that my reef is better- AHHH thats a great feeling :)

It's like wanting what you don't have even more, but once you have it; it's just another coral and you move on, it's called Collecting. We are hunters and we hunt.

It makes me want to rob a bank so I can actually afford a lot of the nice equipment and livestock they have.

But seriously, it makes me more enthusiastic about what I can do with my tank and how great I can make it look.

It makes me spend more money!

After seeing a nice clean scaped tank i always want to go redo my scape but then when i get to the tank i can never get a better vision than what i have so i dont touch it.

Funny this came up and i joined today... I was at World Wide Corals yesterday and after seeing their display tanks makes me want to give up. lol

When I see any aquarium, either beautiful or less than so, I see ideas I may not have thought of and how I could improve on those ideas. I look at the things I would do differently. How I could make it better, both visually, and mechanically. I'm always striving to make any aquarium better, including my own.

It reminds me to test the tank, and make sure nothing goofy is going on. I always imagine those better reef keepers have such a handle on their water chemistry, and I think if I do the same, I'll be in the same position! :D

No matter if its a better reef or not, I always look for the things that are working for them and try to apply that to my reef
