OK... So the thread-title expresses a little 'Cabin Fever Humor' (
), but here's the situation in a nutshell:This Yellow Eyed Kole Tang has been through LOT of copper over the past several years, as a result of me 'Nuking' my FOWLR more than once. In fact the tank is still at 0.26 copper (Hanna checker) right now, and I'll be bringing that down this weekend. But obviously his face has that 'melting-away' appearance. No white spots or anything hanging on or discoloring him anywhere else-- if it looks like it in the photos, it's just things floating in the water / camera artifacts. No other fish are suffering in this way, including a Purple Tang (although he is a new addition and hasn't been through what the Kole Tang has been through). All fish in the tank eat the same varied diet of some flake, some pellets, lots of frozen foods, and daily access to Nori on a clip.
When I finally purge the water of all copper, do you think he will gradually recover? He's acting normal in all respects.
Interested in all thoughts out there... Thanks!
