My spouse picked out a Coral for the first time and I figured out would have similar needs to acans, by the look of it. The store owner said it was meteor shower and showed me the mother colony which was in good health with polyp extension. The frag hasn't lost color but it hasn't extended its polyps since it's gone in my tank. In the store it had tiny polyps with pointed tips. They extended about 1/4" beyond the skeleton in a frag tank which sees good growth for LPS and softies (his LPS husbandry is great).

I drop acclimated it for an hour, dipped it and the acans I got same day. The acans have fully puffed up and are in similar spots.

I figured it would be like acans and like indirect flow with good circulation. I read they prefer lower light and the store owner said the same so I placed it in a spot that gets about 80-100 par. It doesn't get direct light from the kessils and gets most of its light from the reef bright xho actinic.

i have 2.5ppm nitrate (salifert), 0.03ppm phosphate (Hanna), 440ppm calcium, 8dkh, 1380ppm magnesium, 400ppm potassium. I dose 0.005mg/L iron every second day, undetectable (salifert). 10mL seachen iodide every second day, supposedly 0.16mg/L, undetectable (salifert).

i feed enough mysis for 10 small fish in the reefer 525 plus the copperband, daily, and I dose reef energy plus nightly, when the lights are at 5% just before they go out.

i run the skimmer 24/7 and everything is stable so I don't want to change anything in the tank besides placement of the frag or any direct feeding which may get it to extend it's polyps.

Any advice on what to do?

Meteor Shower? Never seen one pucker up like that.

Medium light, medium flow? Assuming parameters are within reason. GL
