I’m using the NT Labs test kit

and this is the colour I am getting when I test the pH:

my eyesight isn’t great but I’m pretty sure it doesn’t match any of the colours on this chart...

Can anyone help?

That's pretty easy to read. It clearly says; "Get a new test kit."

Edit:
It also seems to be indicating that your solution may be out of range for the kit?

Great. Didn’t see that in the fine print. Which one do you use?

I think most people who monitor PH use an aquarium probe. They can be used with a monitor controller or standalone. I have found the cheap PH monitor with probe that i got on amazon(around $20 USD) to be accurate(or at least consistent with the much more expensive probes i have on my other tanks). They do need to be calibrated(calibration fluid maybe included with probe or bought seperately)

I have a pH pen, but I don't like it much better than your test to be honest. I have a pH probe that runs my calcium reactor and I have calibrating solutions that I use to calibrate both but I can't recommend either. I believe my pH is at the low end in my tank but it's stable and i don't concern myself with it all that much.

The tests, the strips, all have similar visual problems, or require routine calibration.

Anyone else have a pH checker that wants to give a plug?
