What Does Your Purple Firefish Like To Eat?

Mine also eats just about anything but goes crazy for frozen rotifers.

The question I have is how often do you feed them? I feed mine once a day, combination of TDO pellets, RuSalty Ova feast, Zu Feast, oyster feast and live phyto or Naturose phyto ( the latter for the filter feeders really, but maybe some nutrient soaking into the pellets).

Mine likes TDO medium, but has started to have a preference for the RUSalty Ova Feast eggs that stay floating a long time in the water column. The TDO has to be given to him/her one at a time--such a diva.

Mostly small. Sometimes I add B2 because the small tends to sink more quickly. B2 stays in suspension.

My recent purchase of two firefish are acting aggressively, they are slightly bigger than most but have a bullying nature, stopping others especially at feed times, research suggested they are communal? Hence my purchase, but these guys are just Bullys

I noticed my red firefish chasing a possum wrasse last weekend. Who would have guessed.

I think I read to just keep one in a small tank.

My firefish is almost always out other than when the lights go out. I did catch him hanging out here one day and got a cool pic looking grumpy as ever. Took the other 2 pics just now

I bought my TDO from BRS, but just recently started using Reef Nutrition Oyster, ROE eggs, Mysis and Phyto (dead), which I got from SaltwaterAquarium.com, where you can also get TDO.
Update: firefish likes both medium and small TDO pellets, and also the Reef Nutrition ROE eggs. Hasn't taken to the Reef Nutrition Mysis, but that's OK since the RFAs and inverts don't complain.

For about two months. The fish is now a hardy eater of nutrient enriched dried brine shrimp.
