Hi I have a 180g with a 40g sumps and was wondering what other fish I could add in the future?
Stocking list:
2 gobies
2 clownfish
2 chromis
1 sixline
1 scopas tang
1 juvenile Atlantic blue tang

Looking into a foxface, wrasse, hawkfish.

The only issue I see is that you have the Scops and Blue Atlantic Tang which some times could be aggressive with new inhabitants, How long have you had them for?
The scopas has been there since 2-3months. The blue tang at the moment isn’t aggressive and have been in the tank for a month. (The tank was transferred from a 65g 3 months ago)

1. That scopas will more than likely be aggressive due to it being established and having one ofthe first chances to claim territory. Also, the Atlantic blue is never peaceful IME. Even juveniles will posses some form of aggression. Whether it be mild aggression as a juvenile or some of the worst aggression as an adult, they all have some level of aggression towards new fish.

2. With the six line already in there you will not be able to have other wrasses. The six line is of a genus that rarely mixes well with other wrasses.

So, honestly your simple answer is you’ve maxed yourself out already. Also, remember the Atlantic blue will get over a foot long, the scopas will get rather large as well. Both of these will need to have the swimming room, it’s best staying under stocked for this reason.

Thank you and I didn’t know how aggressive they can be to new tankmates I see why people say add them last to the tank

A dwarf angelfish or Genicanthus sp. angel.

I would catch the sixline and replace it with 6 other wrasse that get along ;) Just so many sexy wrasses.

Anthias are another option but can be fragile/pain in butt when first acquired.

Pearly jawfish are fun to watch, they are social so you could get a few.

Royal Gramma

Springer damsels

A blenny of some sort although sometime tangs attack them

What type of angles would you suggest and what’s the mirror trick I never heard of that one?
Dwarf angels or get a goldflake angel

mirror trick is you put a mirror up at the side of you're tank watch the tangs go wild

Before getting other fish, make sure your fish definitely fall for this trick. I have seen some fish fail with it and others work, every fish is different and not all of them fall for it.

leopard wrasses and radiant wrasses are some of my favorite. A sixline my not take kindly to them though. Both of those eat pests as well.

Get rid of the six line and get the tangs under control and then yes there are other wrasses you can have.
