I currently have a 30'in x 12'in x 18'in 29 gallon tank with a Tetra whisper 30 gallon power filter and a Aquamaxx HF-M HOB refugium/skimmer. The fuge has Tigger pods, bio cubes at the bottom, and green grape macroalgae. It also has a separate chamber full of ceramic rings. I don't know how many pounds of rock I have but it has a decent amount with some arches, caves, and overhangs. I have an AI Prime 16 HD and two 540gph powerheads, one on each side and they are rarely on at the same time.
My tank is only a month old (a month since it finished the initial cycle).
I have 2 tiny baby clowns, a banggai cardinal, and a skunk shrimp. I want to get a peppermint shrimp as well just incase of aptasia.
A green mushroom coral, red zoanthids, and a torch that refuses to open (no other problems) despite the water being fine.
I plan to put more torch/hammer/frog in the corner with the existing one to make a little island of them. as well as more corrals down the road.
I plan on adding a bubble tip nem at the tank's 6 month mark.
But I want at least one more fish in there and I don't know what to put in. Any advice or ones to absolutely avoid would be great! It would be great if it eats algae. I bought a whole ton of algae sheets and a clip before I knew what I was doing so I want to be able to use them as my clowns seem completely disinterested in it.
