The OP was asking what else is needed besides their recommendation in the text within the photo.
The issue is the algae isnt growing very green and seems to be dying inside the algae scrubber.

Ok. The answer then is probably flow. These bubbly scrubbers were always known to be problematic. Why, in the name of Jehova would you want to increase feeding, or throw a load of iron in, just to grow algae. If you increase flow and still can’t grow algae, you’ve got a serious problem which would suggest an ICP test is required. Algae can be excellent indicators of water quality but not in this configuration.
