What else to do?

Iv got this hammer for almost 2 months it used to open like a beautiful tree, till i added the foxfsce, he seems to be nipping on it. It got pinched. And retracted. I did the KFC dip for 4 hours, and still not opening fully and pinched. What should i do for it!

Thats how it looks now after the dip still pinched, and not fully extended.

It probably doesn't like that location where it is rubbing against rocks on both sides.

I'm no expert but maybe something bothering it from below, I doubt it's foxface as you suggested.
Maybe sponge or other maybe irritating it from below... It's growth/ stalk

No thats glue. Idk whats wrong with it. Crazy insane dip for 4-5 hours.

I had heater in the dip

Usually 12hrs is great, in the dip, how long did you try using , a Al method, it maybe something to do with migration

Not sure the dip insteuctions by kfc said 4-6. So i did 4

Have you got actual evidence of the fish nipping on the hammer?

I’d be surprised if it was the Foxface as Hammers are one of many corals they tend to ignore. I have my two in with 2 large colonies of hammer.
