I realize this is going to be quite opinionated, but I still want some advice!

I am currently 10 months into my saltwater journey. I have upgraded my tank to a Red Sea Reefer XL300 (65g Display, 80g total).

Info:
-10 months total wet time. Tank upgraded/ transfered Aug 1, 2020.
-40+ frags doing well. Mostly softie and LPS due to newer tank. A few SPS are doing well.
-Would like to add even more SPS, but not full on SPS dominant tank. I like my Zoas, Euphyllia, Duncans a lot.
-Very few issues atm. Just a few aptasia getting killed and some vermatid snails getting glued.

I am trying to figure out what equipment I should be picking up to upgrade my tank the most. I have a few things in mind, but can't settle.

Controller: I have been eyeing the Control 4. Apex seems like a lot for me right now.

Lights: I am currently "fine" with my lights. 3 Ai Prime 16HDs running the BRS 40 breeder layout. Somewhat similar dimensions that it is working. My scape doesn't reach too high and still get 250 par in multiple places. Once corals grow up, they should hit even higher numbers. I have thought about pusbing this, though. I am unsure if 2 Radion 15 Blues would be stronger than my current set up. Or maybe an AP9x.
Issue? I have a Clearview lid coming soon with my Prime light cutouts. Would have to have them recut new light holes. $$, but worth it.
Also... I mean .. current lights do work. So would this just be a vanity upgrade?

Dosing:This isn't an immediate issue. I am just now starting to dabble in 2 part dosing. Very, very little amounts. This would be a future help that I could set up now to get used to it.

Flow: I currently have a single Mp40 on the side with two Koralia pumps as support. It works. I am 100% going to get another Mp40 at some point and take out the other pumps. Zero wires in tank at that point. Corals are happy, so this would mostly be a visual upgrade.

ATO: Stock ATO stinks. Not a big issue. Super easy fix. Doubt this is on my plate for a while.

Refugium: My current bioload is crazy small with just 3 baby fish. Once my lid comes in, that will change. Adding a few more fish. At this point, I will want to get a Refugium set up in the sump. A light would be required.

Other? I definitely am open to suggestions.

So, what do I already have?
+3x Ai Prime 16HD
+Red Sea RSK 300 Skimmer (love)
+Varios6 return pump
+Mp40 with 2 koralia pumps as support.
+Great test kits for all except Nitrates. Getting a Nyos kit here soon. But thats cheap.

Get a good dosing pump and get used to testing alkalinity and adjusting your 2 part. That’s essential for healthy reef IMO.

What would you consider "good" dosing pump? I see BRS, Kamoer, GHL, Bubblemagus, and Versa the most. Any you would avoid?

Any other input from anyone? I keep going back to looking at light uogrades, but not sure if it will be a noticeable bump.
Would 2x Radion xr15 blues be more power than 3x AI primes? Also, Hydra 32s are on sale. I could even upgrade to 2x of them if they are a better choice.

Indecisive. Haha

If you want led look at
Orphek light bars.
I just picked up a 48" blue plus for $150 to supplement my Halides.
3 bars for $450 is a steal and will grow everything.
The 36" are on sale for $136 so 3 for $400.

Is that something an addition to my current lights or to replace?

I would setup dosing, if you have plans for apex go with a DOS. Stability is key

Replace at 3 units. Add 1 to current system then maybe another.
You may be able to use only 2 on your system
Imo, they are leading edge leds.

I would dose by hand for now.
Get a feel for your system and you will learn more and understand whats going on in your tank before any automation is needed.
I run a carx on my 120 and dose 2 part by hand in my 45 frag tank.
Still after a year its pretty simple since I dose once a day and my system is very stable.

I have been leaning far heavier to getting the Control4 rather than Apex. The simplicity and lower cost appeals to me.

I will start my research on these to see what they are all about :)

I am doing so by hand right now and have no issues with it. If there isn't anything else I can pick up that will help me, dosing would make my life easier. Just trying to weigh my options.
