What excites me the most is actually the never ending planning and putting a tank together even though I have one running already. .I have atleast broke down a tank 7 times maybe more and set up a new one or redo the one I have now...I learn more and more each time and maybe someday I can stick to one..lol I guess I just love building things...just curious as to what got u addicted to this hobby ..what excites you guys and gals what makes u keep going regardless of what happens ..

Spending all my money upgrading my equipment. lol

I would have to say the search for new corals, all the trips we go on for the search but also like to see the changes in our tank. The growth of all the corals and fish. It's an ever evolving thing and I can't get enough!!

I get excited everytime I get a new coral, whenever I pick one up I can't wait to get it in the tank! Watching the coral thrive and grow is the icing on the cake. It actually kind of funny because the reason I got into the hobby was because of the fish. Don't get me wrong I love my fish too but the coral seems more rewarding.

I absolutely love all the diversity. I always loved fish tanks for the serenity they created but a reef tank is both serene and awe inspiring. The variety of marine creatures totally captivates me. I love the fish, the inverts and the corals. God's creative genius when He made reefs is so amazing!

I love the excitement of children looking at my tank and asking questions. They may never get to experience what you and I have.

I love it too when children are peering in my tank. There are hazards and you can read about one of them that happened last night in my tank's thread, Dawn's 36g bowfront.

I love it when I experience new things in the hobby. It seems like every week I experience one or more new things like news of a new product coming out on market, discovering a new specie of fish or coral, getting a new package of goodies from BRS or someone else, seeing a new episode of one of my reefing subscriptions on You Tube, discovering a new critter or a coral growing a new branch, the list go on. Sometimes just reflecting on what I've done and how far I've come in the hobby or all the life and equipment I've accumulated.

Getting home from work or class and being able to put some music on grab a beer and imagine I'm on the beach instead of stuck In the reputation of every day like a mini vacation
