This will sound 'snarky' - but - wherever you want? My tendency (as compared to some) - is to add a much living material over your rock. A dime sized frag with lots of other area for algae to grow - is going to cause/let algae to grow. So - If you have friends or funds to buy larger colonies - I would add more coral to cover your rock.
