What fish does my reef need?

I have a 20g mixed reef (mostly softies and LPS) and a BTA. My pair of clowns will be added mid December, and I want to plan ahead and look for tank mates. It is rimless. maybe a shrimp-goby pair? Any blenny suggestions?

20 gallons is not too big. be careful how much you add or it will be very challenging to keep your nitrates/phosphates in line

Mostly looking for 1 more, either goby or blenny. I wouldn’t mind only having the pair of clowns if that’s recommended!

oh.. ok.. i thought you were stocking up more.. 3 or 4 fish should be ok...as long as they are small (and stay relatively small). i like both, but blennies can be more fun to watch (as they perch). i have clowns, and recently purchased a small mocha storm and black storm clown... i kind of like the designers.

That’s awesome! I love how the mochas look- I have a female snowstorm and male phantom

i like the bluespot jawfish as well as the orange spot blenny.

Definitely wouldn’t mind a blue spot! I’ll have to see which is least likely to jump- I know that’s a risky game with gobies and jawfish

a pair of Cardinalfish , firefish, dartfish, Jawfish, Royal Gamma , Chromis. They are all great fish for a 20G.
