What fish have I been sold??

I’m really worried that I’ve been Mis sold my new fish. He told me it was a yellow wrasse but now im worried it’s a banana wrasse
Please help me identify x

With the black spots, I'd say yellow, not banana.

Bananas also usually have solid yellow tails, not white/clear at the end.

That’s a Halichoeres chrysus which is also called a banana wrasse sometimes.
The banana wrasse name is used for 2 species;
Halichoeres chrysus and Thalassoma lutescens.

My biggest thing I can do is name most fish scientifically but as soon as it comes to the common names I’m screwed… I had to look up some of the common names that weren’t used on here.
