The fish which have spawned in my aquarium are:

Flame angel
Yellow tangs
Chromis
Clownfish
Banggaiis

The first marine fish I ever raised... If i can do it, anyone can!

I have had clowns spawn before. Never got a chance to try and raise them. I'm hoping my current pair start spawning in time.

My bluethroat triggerfish (Xanthichthys auromarginatus) are beginning to. I had two for a little over a year now, male lost his coloration, until recently he regained the blue throat and yellow lining on his fins.. There has been a lot of pushing/fanning sand to make what seems like a nesting area.

That would be very interesting to see, if you get a chance to take a video I'd love to see it :)

I have observed my crosshatch pair what appears to be courting on three separate occasions over the past year. Male chases female then they face each other heads toward the surface spiraling around each other for several rotations. They break off then repeat this for hours. I was concerned it was fighting at first with nipped fins but few days later all healed like nothing happened. It is fascinating to watch so hopefully it happens again so I can record some video.

Earlier this year, my pair of Percula Clownfish spawned in my 120gal reef system.
I was able to capture that event on video.

Otherwise, my male Lyretail Anthias will court the dominant female nightly at twilight, but I've never noticed if any spawning has taken place; probably need a bigger tank!

Clownfish
Yellow Clown Gobies
Stocky Anthias
Indigo Dottybacks

I think that covers it. My bluestreak cardinals do not seem to want to spawn, or I never see them. Cannot wait till my skunks and current clowns begin.

Cool video... The colours on those corals are amazing

These triggerfish are getting a bit annoying lol.

Walked into the living room to see this.

More than half the tank has pushed out sand in it.. I don't even believe they're large enough to spawn yet either. They're both about 4".

Young love :p

Bluestripe pipefish
Bangai cardinals
blue devils,
percula, tomato and fireclowns
Watchman gobies,
Clown gobies
Mandarins
Seahorses
Ruby red dragonettes
Numerous types of cardinals
That's all I can remember.

Feed them live blackworms and clams. They spawn every month all the time. All fish do if you feed them correctly and have the right tank for them

Various clownfish and mandarins here. I'm fortunate to know Matt at Sustainable Aquatics and can visit periodically. They are spawning virtually all fish know to spawn in captivity and were recently experimenting with tangs and angelfish. I'd love to attempt dwarf angels if I had access to a reliable food source for the fry.

I've had clowns, snails, and long spine urchin. Never tried to raise the clowns, it was just free fish food every 2-3 weeks.

Oh, and Shrimp....I know most items listed arn't fish though. :)

you've had yellow tangs spawn? that's pretty cool thought they had to have like 20 feet of water to make a run to the top just to get worked up enough to spawn. I am going to be breeding banggi cardinals in my new 4x4' tank, everyone I can sell that comes out the tank is one less out the ocean so hopefully well do well .
