What fish or invert will kill a fireworm?

Fireworm or bristleworm?

Fireworms are very uncommon to get unless you bought real ocean rock, but even then it's highly unlikely.

Got a picture of the worms?
Pretty sure it was a fire worm, it was red and had the white tuffs all along it.

Green bird wrasse
I disagree. Bird Wrasses are incredibly aggressive and don’t just eat inverts but can also go against elongated body fish like firefish.
A better bet is to find out the OP’s tank size and then figure out a solution.

Saw a couple of fire worms and wondering what fish or invert will kill a fireworm?
What size tank?
What fish/inverts do you already have?
When did you see the worms - right after feeding? at night?

Did it look somewhat like this?

All Fireworms are Bristleworms but not all Bristleworms are Fireworms.

Or did it look like either type here? Both are harmless bristleworms.

It looked like the one on the far left but it kind of looked like it had bigger and whiter tuffs on the along it like the first picture but it might have been the same I can’t remember to be honest.

Ive seen this in person at an LFS and also I gave mine to a couple in Northern Wisconsin who says its their best fish. Go from Experience and not what you read. I sold many at my LFS and Never got a complaint.
From Spruce on the internet:

Bird Wrasse Diet

Although this fish's bird-like beak mouth is small, it is adept at grasping prey in its strong jaws. Once captured, it bashes the prey item against the substrate until it breaks into bite-sized pieces.

A bird wrasse will eat nasty fire and other nuisance bristle worms, but beneficial and decorative type worms, small crustaceans, snails and such as well. Feed a hardy diet of vitamin-enriched frozen brine and mysid shrimp preparations, small bits of fresh or frozen meaty seafood, and frozen silversides. It is recommended to feed this fish three times a day.

Honestly I don't think fish are ever the best choice for going after any form of a bristle or fireworm. I vote for arrow crab or banded shrimp
