What fish should I get?

Possum wrasse , will help in controlling pest
Tailspot Blenny , awesome personality , like a dog, and eats algae
Lawnmower blenny, great sand shifter
Whole bunch of gobies...way too many to enumerate them
Whatever you choose , don't go above 2 or 3, and make sure you introduce then in certain order,

Not mentioning clowns....

Tailspot Blenny, lovely fish with real character.
Firefish, will always be out front and centre.
Peacock Wrasse. If your tank is fairly mature and you can get one already feeding on frozen.

1 flashing wrasse be ok.
Flasher wrasses need a bigger tank than 20g, they are quite active.

A peacock wrasse, or any of the other leopard wrasses need a tank bigger than 20g, for their grazing and exploring needs.

How about a wrasse??
A possum or pink streaked wrasse would work.

Other appropriate fish that are cool would include: yellow assessor, royal gramma, swales basslet, a group of barnacle blennies, firefish, tailspot blenny, neon goby, clown gobies.

if you get a wrasse make sure it has a cover. They will find the smalleds hole to jump out of and become potato chip

I kept a peacock wrasse in a 94l nano tank with 10kg live rock in. It was perfectly happy although it ate frozen from the beginning too. Hence my suggestion that a more mature tank was needed and to find one that was taking other foods.

For the vast majority of cases it is tried, keeping a leopard in tanks that size will be a failure. The goal should be to give advice that give the best chances of success.

Perfectly happy is anthropomorphisizing the fish. How did you measure happiness?

Also, how will you measure success? How long did you keep it in a 24g tank?

I'm not doubting the advice in any way which was good. I was merely stating my own experience with one in a small tank.

For the record I had it almost 2 years before a power cut wiped out my tank while I was away.

I have an IM 20g tank with only lps corals... wondering what nice fish can I put inside of here? I already have a pair of snowflakes.
I have a pair of frostbites very pretty pair, I got them when they were little babies. ;Joyful Fire fish, cardinals, and smaller gobies give nice color to a tank.
