I have a 30 gallon tank I just sold alot of fish so I could ask around and research the ones i get more ,right now i have a sandsifting goby,a clown fish, and a 2 yellow tail damsels

I'd put 5 or 6 tangs in there. Big ones!

Kidding!! Settle down tang police =)

I have a 20g. I have a tail spot blenny which I really like. Clown gobies are cool. I have a neon dottyback that I love but he's in his own tank because while really pretty they can be complete jerks =) he was attacking the cuc when I put them in lol

One other note: are you planning on qt? To each his own but its something you should at least think about imho.

Best of luck and keep us posted!

Quarantine Tank. There is lots of discussion on this forum about the topic and several different methods etc. Some ppl just plop new fish right in to their main tank. Others proactively treat new fish with meds to ensure you are not introducing a plague to your existing fish. Another routine involves transferring new fish to a new tank/bucket every 72 hours to beat the ich lifecycle. I have never qt'ed myself but after all the horror stories I've read nothing else is going in to my tank without qt. I am working on getting setup for this and have been holding off on purchases etc. I love my current fish and am not willing to take the chance any more. Esp from Petco lol.

Here’s a link to the “Fish Disease, Treatment& Diagnosis” forums. The top stickies are all good info for you to know. You definitely should have a quarantine tank before adding any fish. I found out the hard way, last September, when Velvet killed all my fish. You can read about on my build thread. Click on the “My Red Sea Reefer...”

Honestly I wouldn't add any fish at this point. Reading your other threads, you should let your tank settle and get used to the bioload it has. I just saw another thread that you still have a sand sifting goby with sand it can't sift and a sand sifting starfish that I thought you were rehoming?

Those 4 fish are enough for a 30 gallon unless it's well established
