What fish symbolizes the hobby above all other? (Other than the clownfish! <edited)

This would be my suggestion:

Nemo!

Considering how many breeders there are out there, I'd have to agree with the clownfish also.

Any fish that's a pain in the butt because this hobby is a pain lol

Clown fish for sure

Ok ok... I didn't think of clown fish... I'm blonde... you'll get over it :p

Other than clownfish then :)

I think the clownfish symbolizes a saltwater tank where the yellow tang symbolizes the "hobby". Many people out there refer to the clownfish, but even those not in the hobby get the reference to as little as a toddler. The yellow tang has a little more meaning as not everyone has one, people don't refer to it by a screen name, and it is a very noteworthy fish for the hobby. It is not rare, or even difficult for that matter, it is just a majestic fish...

My club has two stickers made for vehicles. The first design is the yellow tang and the second is of a snowflake clownfish. We decided against the standard clown as we wanted to be set apart from the movie and those who thing a goldfish bowl is good enough for a clownfish...

Other than clownfish then :)

Plain and simple, number 2 would have to be Dory!

Between the two of them, they've defined saltwater tanks for the masses. When some non-reefer comes to your house, what do they want to see, you're $2000 prize fish or Nemo and Dory? Case closed!

Lol y are in the hobby then.

The enjoyment far exceeds the detriment. Simple formula.

It doesn't make it less of a pain though it's just worth the trouble

So true no one cares about the rare or Expensice Ornamental fish. Sigh.
