I have a Biocube 32 running for about 14 months. The first two fish were a pair of clowns, then a YWG, followed by a Royal Gramma. There are three nassarius snails, a couple ceriths and three blue legged hermits. For corals there is GSP on an island, some zoas, four acans, a ricordia mushroom, a Duncan, candy cane, a frogspawn, and a torch. Everything was going well…until…

This past Sunday the larger of the two clowns became aggressive toward the other. Previously they appeared to have paired. I had to travel for three days, when I returned the smaller looked beat up. I have separated to a breeder basket. It is eating fine and on the mend. One of these two Weill go back to the LFS.

What suggestions for a new occupant of this little reef?

If they are paired don’t send it back. It may be breeding behavior.
