What goes in these compartments

Can someone help me put together this 20 gal frag tank what goes in here

The blue box is an internal filter box. A small pump will go in the right side connected to the bulkhead fitting returning water to the tank. The left side is the overflow and I wouldn't put anything in it.

What size pump would you recommend and how would i filter it

A piece of sponge filter in the divider?

Just having a pump in there doesn't make it much of a filter, right?
They've got one picture on their website (under the custom works section) that shows a foam block in that left side. You could also use that side for running a bag of carbon or some other media.

Good deal. Im more concerned about the pump how do i get a small enough pump with that giant bulkhed fitting

I would consider using a Sicce 1.0 which is adjustable in terms of flow rate.
