I was checking my tank this morning and my anemone looked like this. Should I be concerned? What's going on with it?

I wouldn't be too concerned. I have a Rainbow Bubble tip that split and they both now do that every once in a while for a day. If it stays like that for longer than a few days to a week, then yes I would be concerned. Either way just make sure your parameters all in check.

Check water parameters, could be a spike. But I've seen them go very small and the next day there blooming just fine. Are you feeding it? And what? I feed my dead fish to my anemone. Cut up in very small pieces, every 2 weeks.

Looks like it caught something to eat. I've noticed that the tentacles will shrivel up if it has something to do with water chemistry or if the nem is unhappy.

just keep an eye out. Mine does it fairly regularly. Mostly when the clown messes with it.
Nems are weird.

Mine does this when ever he feels like it. Most of the time is due to a change (water change, new kalk measurements, big tank cleaning ect) but they are very unique in behavior and I have seen mine do it for no reason at all. Sometimes they just want to change water in their system, expel waste, ect. If it stays like that for over 24 hours then maybe I would worry.

Sorry I never got any notifications for some reason. The tank is 3 years old. He ended up opening up later. I'm just nervous because it's in my reef tank and I'm scared of him dieing. I did a water change just to be safe.
