What got my hermit?

Hello Joey I'm new too 2years in I've seen that in my tank to but then I noticed that thay do mulet and when thay do you would see legs and some times even the bottom of them too so there is a good chance he is still in there somewhere I may be rong on that but thay do mulet to growDo snails eat hermits? I noticed my turbo was following my hermit around the other day and then the hermit dissapeared. Today I found this

then i have a **** hermit in my tank...just put them in a week ago and have not got any empty shells yet. well dang i work 36 hours in the next three days so wont be able to get to lfs to get shells,
When the crabs grow or die the shell some ather crabs will move in them as thay do need a bigger shell to grow I never buy empty shell's at any lfs I just get bigger crabs with bigger shell's so the yung one's have a home when it's time to shop for a bigger place lolo

My experience is the reverse would more likely be the case because Hermits will often evict snails from their shells in order to move into the newly vacated property
