What grinds your gears?

In the real world: the lack of common sense. It seems that it really isn't so common anymore.

In the reefing world: as already stated, the naming game and prices of the little 1/2" booger frags. I'm all for compensation for time, supplies, and space taken to grow out colonies for frags. Lately it seems that the prices aren't justified in the slightest bit.

In this hobby there can be a lot of things that frustrate you but what is that one thing that really gets to you?

For me it’s over stocking. In reefs, fowlr, fw it doesn’t matter. Everything about it really bothers me. And while browsing on FB marketplace a few minutes ago I came across this monstrosity, the ad says it’s a 120 gallon fat boy

Corals dying or fish dying really grinds my gears

Expired milk grinds my gears ... especially if the carton is still half full ! (>__<)'

For reef-keeping, the whole disease prevention thing is a struggle. ... shouldn't be this hard.

Equipment sure gets pricey really quickly. :(

Kids that open every box of cereal and dont make the attempt to close the bag via folding the top down or using a chip clip. Just came home and noticed the 3 boxes I bought yesterday... one box of apple Jack's and 2 boxes of original life. Yes you heard me correct, 2 boxes of original life cereal. I had one of those boxes hidden for my fiance (it's her favorite) for this very reason so that she'd have her own box, never to be gotten stale from kids

It grinds my gears when I see post after post about someone who went to their LFS and saw a animal and bought it. Without knowing anything about the animal or it's needs. Clearly having no idea what the fish/animal even eats. Let alone what kind of living conditions it requires.

Oh my god, all the people I'd have come into the shop and point out the diadema urchins and say "look at his big eyeball!". The reactions I'd get when I correct them and tell them it's actually the animals rear end hahahahaha... priceless

Here's one I've seen several times lately

OP: My parameters are perfect, why is stuff dying?
(Lists parameters that differ from natural seawater by almost 50%)
Response: you need to add product X (whose ingredients are unknown but almost certainly will do nothing to affect ppt, dkh, mg, or ca)

My wife can't seem to put things back in the same spot. One day the mustard is on the top shelf, the next it's in the door and the next it's on the bottom shelf. Terrible!
You must be a pleasure to live with
